It is possible to measure up to 600V (T6-600) or 1000 V (T6-1000) through the open cross without testing the lead wire to contact the live voltage.

Fluke T5-600/T5-1000 Voltage Fluctuation Tester

With the compact Fluke T5 voltage fluctuation test pen, voltage fluctuations, on-off and current measurements can be done. You only need to select the voltage, ohms or current function, and the rest is done by the test pen. With the OpenJawTM Current-Voltage Fluctuation Test, you can measure currents up to 100A without disconnecting the circuit. The sturdy test leads can be neatly packed into the slot on the back of the test pen, making it easy to put the T5 in your pocket. The detachable SlimReachTM test probe is tailored to the local national power standards. Voltage fluctuation test leads are available for optional accessories such as clips and professional probes. With the optional H5 holster, the user can hold the T5 on the waist. The T5 is available in 600V and 1000V models.
