    Product Description

    EGD-1000 Electronic Cooler

    1.             Functional features of the instrument

    The precise measurement of gas composition requires that the sample gas can maintain a constant dew point even in harsh environments. The semiconductor electronic condenser provides a Peltier effect cooling system, which is mainly used in the pretreatment process before various gas analyses to remove condensate from the sample gas, making the sample gas ultra-clean, constant temperature, and steady flow, thereby improving the accuracy of analysis and measurement.

      The cooling system is composed of semiconductor refrigerators imported from the United States, Japanese thermistor temperature probes, corrosion-resistant heat exchangers and conduits. The system is designed as exchangeable components for easy repair and maintenance.

      Under normal conditions, the ambient temperature is 2  ~40  , the gas flow rate is 1L/min~3L/min, and the electronic controller keeps the outlet gas dew point temperature within 1 ℃ ~ 5  . The temperature value will be displayed intuitively on the LED screen of the chassis in ℃ . Temperature conditions that are too high or too low will be displayed on the LED screen.

      Depending on the basic principle of the system, the condensate can be discharged by a peristaltic pump or by an automatic drain.

     

    2.             Instrument composition

    The instrument consists of a cooling system, a DC power supply and a temperature controller.

     

    3.             Instrument performance parameters

    3.1 Performance

    (1) Instrument precooling time: After the instrument is powered on, the precooling time is 10 minutes.      

    (2) Cooling capacity: 140KJ/H when the ambient temperature is 25       

    (3) Ambient temperature: 2  ~40 ℃ The outlet gas dew point temperature is 1 ℃~ 5 ℃. When the ambient temperature is set to exceed 40 ℃, the outlet gas dew point temperature will rise proportionally. When the ambient temperature rises to 60 ℃, it will not be damaged even if used continuously. When the ambient temperature returns to below 40 ℃, its performance will be restored.      

       3.2 Temperature Regulation

    (1) Working temperature setting: Under normal conditions, press the SET key 3 times to display the flashing setting value. Then press the ∧ and ∨ keys to adjust to the desired setting value . Press the SET key and the screen will flash once, indicating that the modification is successful. This value is the lower limit stop point. The factory setting is 4 °C and the adjustment range is 1 °C to 99 °C.      

    (2) Under normal conditions, press the ∧ and ∨ keys for 3 seconds, and dxx will be displayed . Press the ∧ and ∨ keys to adjust the setting. After adjusting to the desired setting value, press the SET key and the screen will flash once, indicating that the modification is successful.      

    (3) Keyboard lock: In normal state, press the ∧ key and the SET key at the same time for 3 seconds to display ON , which means the keyboard is not locked. Press ∧ to adjust to OF , and press the SET key to confirm to lock the keyboard. At this time, you can only observe the data but not modify it.      

    (4) System power on/off: In normal state, press the ∨ key for 3 seconds, and the screen will alternately display OFF and the measured temperature value. Press the ∨ key for 3 seconds again or power on again to cancel. All controls cannot be performed in the off mode.      

    3.3 Cooling method

    ( 1  Peltier effect refrigeration

    (2) Forced air cooling      

    3.4 Gas

    (1) Gas flow rate: 1 to 3 L/min      

    (2) Air tightness: The drop of 0.1Mpa gas pressure after 15 minutes does not exceed 2 %      

     

    4.             Maintenance of the instrument

    (1) Clean the dust on the radiator regularly to maintain good heat dissipation      

    (2) Check the fan regularly and remove dust      

    (3) Cleaning of the gas passage. When the flow rate of the gas passage begins to decrease significantly, it can be judged that the gas passage is blocked by dust and other debris. At this time, the passage must be cleaned.      

     

    5.             Fault analysis and solutions

    6.             Appearance and installation of the instrument

    7. Preset temperature:

    1. Press SET three times, 04 appears , press the up and down arrows to adjust the preset temperature. 

    2. After adjusting the preset temperature, press the SET button to confirm. 

    3. The above does not work. 

    4. Turn off the power, press and hold SET and turn on the power, and LOA appears . 

    5. Follow the above steps.
