The shear pin annunciator is specifically used to reflect the break pin breakage of the turbine vane link. Generally, it should be installed in the axial center hole of the shear pin, and each shear pin is equipped with an annunciator. The shear pin annunciator is typically used with a signaling device and emits an electrical signal in two cases:

1. During normal shutdown, if the vane is stuck and the shear pin is cut, an alarm signal is issued.

2. In the process of accident shutdown of the unit, if the guide vane is stuck and the shear pin is cut, in addition to issuing an alarm signal, it also acts on the emergency stop and pulls out the relay to close the inlet valve.
